An evening exploring Linocut printmaking in my York based studio.
Level: Basic linocut experience helpful but not essential
Focus: Introduction to reduction or multi-block printing. Two colours — how they interact, how to plan for them.
Take your linocut to the next level. Learn two-colour printing techniques and take home a small colour print you carved yourself. A step up in ambition — deeply satisfying to make.
What participants take home:
Carved block(s) — either single reduction block partway through, or two-block set
3–4 two-colour prints
Technique notes on registration and colour planning
